Why John Cusack Rules and Why Kaiser of Celebitchy is Just Ridiculous…

John Cusack has been a left-leaning liberal since the 80’s.  This is a guy who has spent some time in the game, but suddenly because he dares to have an honest opinion that goes against the cuddly progressive teddy bear called Mainstream Media and the mental giant known as “Kaiser” over at Celebitchy we are now regaled us with these crap comments:

Some of his quotes are thought-provoking and some are just… ugh.

lol @ “some are just …ugh”  and

The “Obama is worse than Bush” thing is so stupid to me. It makes me feel sorry for Pres. Obama more than anything else – the Republicans’ trope has been that Obama is so crazy-liberal and he’s a socialist and a communist and he will destroy America with his crazy liberal agenda. Then the far-left people complain that Obama is too centrist, that he’s “just like Bush,” etc. No one is happy because… at the end of the day, Pres. Obama is a reasonable man trying to work with both sides. Just my opinion.

“Too centrist” is not what Cusack said.  Not many centrists murder people or rob them of basic liberties, but I’ll assume Kasier’s just dumb and doesn’t understand that murder is kind of extreme and not centrist.  John Cusack understands what “civil liberties” actually are (unlike Kaiser who only understands the concept of feel good bullshit) and because Cusack dares to tell the truth in spite of what it costs him, she “feels bad” for the president.

Kaiser, I’d tell you to feel bad for this kid, but he’s been dead for a few years now because the president murdered him:

That is what Cusack is talking about and what you’re too thick, clueless and ridiculous to get because you are exactly the type to care only about images and words and not actions or deeds.

The president can also control the dialogue from the bully pulpit.  He stood in front of national news to discuss 17 year old Trayvon, to say that “if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon” right after he killed a kid having tea with his friends.

But you feel bad for him.

Do you feel bad for Abdulrahman?  Oh, wait.  I forgot.  That’s “compromise” according to Kaiser.  Killing teenagers is a compromise or something.  Anyway this fucking genius goes on to say:

There’s also a lengthy discussion about drugs and Brian Wilson and whether great art can be achieved from taking drugs. Cusack came across pretty well in that section.

Yeh.  He came along pretty well because Einstein over here agreed with him.

Jesus Christ this bitch is dumb.

Let’s be clear on something that confuses the fuck out of progressives.

Civil Liberties are the inalienable rights protected by government prohibitions and outlined in the first 9 amendments to the Constitution.  They are listed as sacrosanct (although government trespasses on them routinely).

Civil Rights are the derived “rights” grown from the 14th Amendment establishing equal justice under law.

People (progressives) do not understand civil rights that well and make them up as they go leading to all sorts of problems.  You do not have a right to work at the modeling agency downtown, but you cannot be discriminated by that agency because you are black or a woman.  You can be discriminated against because you are ugly, though.

This is where civil rights laws were a great idea, but bad implementation–just like most laws.

Thomas Jefferson told James Madison once that the Bill of Rights was a bad idea because someday people will assume those are the only rights they have.  He was right on that and worse.  I hesitate to think of what federalism would have turned into without them.  We’d all be in work camps probably.

So here is what Cusack said that the dumb broad was DERP about (from Daily Beast):

No, I don’t care about any of that shit. All those people are just full of hot air and networking and stuff. If you’re speaking out about basic Rubicon lines that should or shouldn’t be crossed, if you can’t be against state-sanctioned murder being made acceptable or economic policy, making the difference between language and meaning so absurd that Orwell and Kafka laugh, these are not heavy-duty things, these are just basic, Cartesian things. They’re common sense, and were debated constitutionally a long time ago.

Well, Obama has certainly extended and hardened the cement on a lot of Bush’s post-9/11 Terror Inc. policies, so he’s very similar to Bush in every way that way. His domestic policy is a bit different, but when you talk about drones, the American Empire, the NSA, civil liberties, attacks on journalism and whistleblowers, he’s as bad or worse than Bush. He hasn’t started as many wars, but he’s extended the ones we had, and I don’t even think Dick Cheney or Richard Nixon would say the president has the right to unilaterally decide whom he can kill around the world. On Tuesdays, the president can just decide whom he wants to kill, and you know, since 9/11 there are magic words like “terror,” and if you use magic words, you can justify any power grab you want.

Jesus Christ what an asshole, right?  Obama shouldn’t endorse state sanctioned murder.  How dare he say such a thing!  The president is just trying to please everyone with these murders, how dare John Cusack even suggest he shouldn’t be allowed to kill children!

God, progressives are idiots.

But, but, but Obama has helped gay people and trans people and he’s the first gay president!

Guess what Obama could have done in 2008 on day one of being in office that he didn’t do until years later and with the help of Congress?  Let gays serve openly in the military.

As Commander in Chief the military is 100% his.  Anything from change of uniform to how openly gays serve is up to him.  The first “gay” president created a culture war over it and put the onus on Congress when he could have just been decisive.

In other words he was a pussy.

The only people who are still Obama fans by now are people that are completely clueless and failed Government 101 in college.  They think he has powers he doesn’t have and doesn’t believe he has the powers he does have.

John Cusack–dude you’re The Man!  Thank you.
